At A Week Away, we coordinate and finance respite weeks for families who are battling a life-threatening illness, with the goal of providing them the hope they need to continue their fight.

Mission Statement

A Week Away is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to finance and coordinate respite weeks for individuals and their loved ones who are dealing with a life-threatening illness — enabling them to find the peace and energy needed to continue fighting their disease.

  • Received 501(c)(3) status

  • A Week Away Foundation Founder Caleb Walker passes (December 8th, 1990 — December 3rd, 2014)
